Cristex offer a range of high performance Epoxy Resin systems suitable for a variety of manufacturing methods such as hand layup, vacuum infusion, hot press and RTM. The high-performance Resins from Elantas allow parts produced to have higher mechanical properties than many other systems on the market.

Whilst offering a range of different systems for a number of processing methods, Cristex offer a conclusive number of hardeners offering users the choice or curing speeds and thermal properties. Elantas are one of a few manufactures that don’t use toxins in their hardeners, this ensures a user-friendly product from an odour and handling perspective.

What We Offer

Our large range of resin systems includes options for infusion, wet layup and RTM. With the ability to combine hardeners and resins with varying curing times e.g. slow hardener with infusion resin it gives you the ability to vary within the hardener family to reach the desired results. Our resins offer UV resistance and the low mix viscosity optimises hand lamination or infusion. All our resin systems have approved health and safety documentation.

High performance epoxy infusion resin, it’s very low viscosity
allows the resin to quickly infuse the fibres from thin to
very thick laminates. This epoxy infusion resin from Elantas
is suitable for use with Carbon fibre, Glass fibre and Aramid / Kevlar.
The range of hardeners available from high reactivity to extra
low reactivity allow a large range of desired pot life’s / gel times
to be achieved. This infusion resin will cure at room temperature,
although it is recommended that a post cure is done at a higher temperature
to obtain the best mechanical performance from the resin.
As well as its high mechanical properties this resin cures clear so it is
suitable for both structural and cosmetic applications.

High performance un-filled epoxy laminating resin, suitable for
the moulding of Carbon fibre, Glass fibre and aramid / Kevlar fabrics.
A wide variety of hardeners allow for desired
pot life’s and gel times to be achieved. This laminating resin
will cure at room temperature, although it is recommended
that a post cure is done at a higher temperature to obtain
the best mechanical performance from the resin. As well as its high
mechanical properties this resin cures clear so it is suitable for
both structural and cosmetic applications.

EC 147 W 147 100:45 20-25 minutes (100ml) Low viscosity epoxy resin suitable for the coating of wood or
can be used as an anti-osmosis treatment. This resin is recommended to be
applied with either a brush or roller and will cure at room temperature.
