Glass Needle Mat
E-Glass needle mats are made from high performance glass filaments cut to lengths of 25mm-100mm, blown, carded and needled to the required density/thickness. Stitch bonded versions are also available where a polyamide stitching or glass is used at Customers request.
Good heat and acoustic insulation properties make this product ideal for use in transport, shipbuilding and automotive applications.
Standard products are made from E-Glass and can therefore resist temperatures up to 550°c. For temperatures up to 750°c we offer Glass Needle Mat products made from high temperature glass fibre. For applications above this temperature we can offer Needle Mats produced from Silica Fibres.
