C.T.P announce the arrival of the A.L.F range of high performance fibres & fabrics

Based on a combination of Alumina (70%) and Silica (30%) the A.L.F range of products offer:

  • Excellent thermal resistance working temperature up to 1395ºC
  • Superior thermal insulation properties
  • High tensile strength and modules
  • Excellent electrical insulation properties
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Low moisture absorption
  • Boron free Using

7 micron fibres which offer excellent flexibility, the A.L.F range is available as:-

  • Woven fabrics
  • Braided sleeves
  • Tapes/Ropes
  • Yarn – single and plied
  • Sewing yarns

Current applications include:

  • Thermal insulation rings
  • Furnace linings
  • Heat-shielding
  • Thermal insulation sealers or packing materials
  • Thermal insulation coverings for thermocouples, cables and wires
  • Roller covers for tempered glass manufacturing
