Dynanotex Fabrics
What is Dynanotex?
- Dynanotex is a tow spreading system for DRY unidirectional carbon fibre reinforcements.
- Dynanotex concept based in two separate layers of dry unidirectional carbon fibre bonded together by a resin compatible adhesive.
Main Features
- No bonding elements on reinforcement surfaces
- Perfect fibre alignment
- Thickness reduction (35% less than traditional unidirectional)
- Low weight reinforcements (70 to 400 g\m²) from heavy tow fibres (15K- 24K- 50K)

Production Process



Advantages
- Possibility to use 100%of mechanical performance of fibres
- Improvement of interlaminar shear strength due to perfect bonding of fibre layers.
- Reduced resin accumulation due a very good distribution of fibres and very limited “open spaces“ between microfibres.
- Faster fibre’s impregnation due to capillary property improvement.
Improvement in impregnability of fibres
Composites Layers
- High stability versions with glass scrim or thermoplastic nets inside or outside the carbon UD layers.




Dynanotex Fabrics
- A new cutting system was developed to produce tapes from Dynanotex UD
- A special weaving loom was also developed to produce high performing fabrics
